The cleaning frequency of bathrooms in our residence halls varies depending on the hall type. For halls with community bathrooms, such as Calhoun, Dabney, Daniels, and Siddall, our custodial staff conducts daily cleaning on school days, usually during overnight hours. On weekends and holidays, these bathrooms receive restocking of soap, paper towels, and tissue, with any significant messes addressed.
Suite and apartment-style halls like Bellevue Gardens, CRC, Marian Spencer, Morgens, Scioto, Schneider, and Turner undergo weekly cleaning and restocking. It's important to note that residents of these halls must remove personal items in advance, and the option to decline bathroom cleaning service is not available.
For students residing in other communities, the responsibility for bathroom cleaning rests with the residents themselves. As for living/bedroom areas, students across all communities are accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of their own rooms, suites, or apartments.
