Pre-Health Advising
The Pre-Professional Advising Center helps you prepare for health professions school through a vigorous advising process that includes an introduction workshop, one-on-one appointments, and application workshops.
How to Work with the PPAC
- Attend an Introduction Workshop for new pre-professional students. This is required before you can schedule a one-on-one appointment or attend additional workshops.
- Schedule your first one-on-one advising appointment.
- Continue to meet with your PPAC advisor at least once a semester during your 4-5 years at UC. Then 9 months before you apply to professional school, attend our Application-Year workshops to learn about the different components of a competitive application.
Other Events
We highly recommend you attend other PPAC events hosted throughout the year, such as MCAT Mania and the Health Professions School Fair.
